The Project: Jowke Nightclub
Located in Alcorcón (Madrid, Spain), Jowke features different atmospheres, including indoor clubbing areas, outdoor spaces, and event venues. It is a demanding environment in which the sound system must not only deliver sufficient sound pressure on the dance floor but also integrate seamlessly with the venue’s design and maintain a balanced sound experience in every area.
The Challenge
In a venue like Jowke, sound is an integral part of the venue’s identity. The dance floor requires a solid low-frequency response, while the bar areas, private rooms, and terraces call for a more balanced, comfortable, and uniform sound reproduction.
The challenge for Audibax was to develop a solution capable of combining three fundamental aspects: design, quality, and performance.
The system had to deliver the power needed for DJ sets and live events, while also offering a seamless aesthetic, a clean installation, and clear, defined, and reliable sound reproduction during long periods of intensive use.

The Solution
After several technical meetings with the team in charge of the venue, Audibax helped define the sound system, advising on equipment selection and the recommended layout for each area of the venue. Installation and commissioning were carried out by Jowke’s technical team.
The main system was designed around the Audibax Pro Manhattan series, a line engineered to deliver high performance in professional environments. The Audibax Pro Manhattan 18S active subwoofers provide the necessary punch and depth in the low frequencies, creating a physical and immersive response on the dance floor.
These are complemented by the Audibax Pro Manhattan 15A active speakers, which provide coverage, clarity, and definition for the main system. This combination ensures powerful yet controlled sound reproduction, with clear midrange and treble even at high sound pressure levels.
For the perimeter zones, private areas, and spaces where visual integration is paramount, Audibax Ovo 6 Black speakers were installed—a discreet and elegant solution that enhances the sound without compromising the space’s aesthetics. These speakers, powered by Audibax Dayton 600 amplifiers, ensure stable and efficient amplification, maintaining a consistent sound experience throughout the venue.
The installation was completed with Audibax SM580 dynamic microphones, designed for performances, presentations, entertainment, and special events.
The Result
With this installation, Jowke now has a sound system that complements the venue’s character: powerful on the dance floor, balanced in the lounge areas, and carefully integrated into the visual design.
