Supporting genres such as jazz — which are currently less prominent in contemporary music — is essential to preserving the diversity and richness of the music scene. In March 2026, the 22nd Fuengirola International Jazz Seminar was held. Audibax supplied sound equipment to ensure the highest acoustic quality during the event’s master classes, concerts, and jam sessions.

The seminar, considered one of the most important jazz education events on the Costa del Sol, brings together musicians, students, and music industry professionals each year for a program that combines specialized training, live performances, and opportunities for artistic exchange between different generations of jazz musicians.

Among the guest artists are American drummer Jonathan Blake, one of the most influential figures in contemporary jazz; saxophonist Walt Weiskopf, an international leader in both performance and music education; and Dutch pianist Rob van Bavel, among others. The presence of this international faculty solidifies the seminar’s status as a leading institution for music education, jazz training, and the exchange between professional musicians and students.

An international gathering for jazz and music education

The Fuengirola International Jazz Seminar continues to establish itself as a key gathering place for the jazz community, offering a setting where education, culture, and musical practice flourish in an atmosphere of collaboration between professionals and emerging talents.

The participation of international artists and the involvement of companies specializing in sound technology underscore the value of such initiatives for the development of the music scene and technical training in the field of professional audio.

Technology in the Service of Live Music

Thanks to this technical collaboration, the seminar was equipped with a sound system capable of ensuring clarity and acoustic balance throughout all scheduled activities.

With the goal of providing sound reproduction faithful to the acoustic character of jazz, Madrid Hifi supplied various professional sound solutions tailored to the needs of each space and activity at the seminar.

Notable among the equipment used were: the Audibax Pro Manhattan 12A, designed to provide uniform coverage and sound clarity in large spaces; the Audibax 1202 FFX mixing console, which allows for real-time management of multiple audio inputs and precise control over each performance; and the Audibax Roma 120 Go as a portable PA system with Bluetooth for greater versatility.

The Audibax systems were selected for their ability to deliver clarity, power, and sound fidelity — essential elements in a musical genre like jazz, where every instrumental nuance is a fundamental part of the listening experience.

Commitment to musical culture

For Audibax, collaborating on initiatives such as this seminar means supporting the promotion of live music and the development of new talent, while also demonstrating the importance of technical equipment in the quality of any musical production.

The result is an environment where technology, education, and musical creativity come together to offer a first-rate audio experience.
